Privacy policy

This policy covers this website, the license service and the PromptKit extension. Gabin Personeni EI is the data controller for the website and the license service.

The extension

The extension has no server and makes no network request. It reads what you type on ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini only to check it on your device. Your messages, your files and the values found in them are never stored or sent. It keeps on your device: your settings, rules, keywords, templates, exceptions (exact values only as a one-way hash), counts per day (never text), your best game scores and your license key if you have one. "Erase all PromptKit data" removes it all. Details are on the Security page.

This website

This site does not use cookies, analytics or advertising, and loads nothing from other sites. It is hosted by OVH. Like any web server, ours writes technical logs (IP address, page, date, browser) to deliver pages and protect the site; they are deleted after 14 days. We count visits from these logs with IP addresses anonymized, without any tracker in your browser.

Beta requests

When you request the beta, we keep your e-mail address, the browser and the use you chose, the language of the page and the date. We use them only to send you the beta and the information that matters for it, on the basis of your consent. We keep them for 12 months at most, then delete them. No one else receives them. You can withdraw your consent and have them erased at any time by writing to [à compléter: e-mail de contact]. To limit abuse, we also keep a one-way hash of your IP address for one hour.

Buying a license

Paddle is the Merchant of Record: it collects your payment and billing details, handles invoices, taxes and refunds, and is responsible for that data under its own privacy notice (paddle.com/legal/privacy). We receive from Paddle the order number, the product bought, your e-mail address and the refund status.

Getting your key

On the "Get my key" page you enter your order number and e-mail address. They are sent to our license service (hosted by Cloudflare), which compares a one-way hash of the e-mail address with the one kept for the order, then answers with your key. We keep, for each order: the order number, the license key, a license identifier, the plan, a one-way hash of the e-mail address and dates. We do not keep your e-mail address. We keep this data for as long as the license can be used, so that you can retrieve your key again, and for the legal retention period of sales records.

Why we use this data

To deliver the license you bought, to cancel it after a refund, and to answer your support requests (performance of the contract and legitimate interest). To send you the beta (your consent). To keep the site running and safe (legitimate interest).

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it. Write to [à compléter: e-mail de contact]. You can also complain to the CNIL or to the data protection authority of your country.

Children, changes

PromptKit is not aimed at children. If this policy changes, the new version is published here with its date.
